David Austen has created two limited edition prints to complement his exhibition held at MK Gallery, 10 February – 25 March 2007.
The exhibition was the largest and most comprehensive by British artist David Austen for over ten years. It brought together a rich and significant body of work which included the distinctive paintings and works on paper for which he has become widely known, as well as a film and hanging sculptures, both of which signaled a new and important departure in the artist’s work.
About The Artist
British artist David Austen was born in 1960, and studied at the Royal College of Art between 1981 and 1984. Many of his works are characterised by ideas, sensations and emotions that are concentrated in a single and intense image.
